This is what you see in the video goggles when flying FPV although I have had to greatly compress it to make it small enough to upload to photobucket.The original video is in HD and is about 1GB in size but this small vid should give you an idea what it's all about even down to the quad getting kicked about in the strong wind.No distant or high stuff yet as we are still testing and setting up the gear but it has performed great so far.

Does this mean we can mount an expedition around the outfield to try to find all our lost planes. There must still be half a dozen or so out there somewhere!

Looking forward to doing just that when we are up on our own Dougie but we have agreed to stay away from the main field when normal flying is in progress and a nice warm summers day would help :D:D:D:D

Awesome video.


When I have uploaded to youtube in the past, I have converted the AVI files which the camera produces to .wmv files. There is a slight compromise on quality, but they are far smaller and much quicker to upload.


I used MS MovieMaker which is part of the standard XP software roster (not sure about more modern operating systems).

Trial Bike Damage

If you see the two young trial bike riders or hear them in the lanes then please phone the police on this number and report that they are in the Palacerigg lane system. 01236 503900.

Please be sure it is two bikes, there are occasional single riders who will not return to the expected location the police are aware of.

Do not break down the perimeter fence for any reason. Do not climb the fence and disturb the hawthorn we have piled against the fence. Use the main gate if you are exiting or entering the premises.

Do not break through the hedge to the rear of the car park. If you must use the public facilities at Palacerigg.
