Right men got my first petrol engine in the seagull yak and weather looking good for friday (thank friday) for test flights and some serious fun.

As im new to petrol engines I have a question about the throttle set up. Just now I have a metal link from throttle servo to the carb arm with no break in the metal to metal linkage, I have read this is bad as can cause problems, is this still true with 2.4 ghz or is it a thing of the past, hoping I can get away with it as have limited time for adjustments/changes this week.

Cheers.
