2200 nominally slow charges at 220Ma so 70Ma would take 3 times as long, 150 Ma half the time of the 70 Ma. Charge time at 220Ma is 10 to 14 hours (depending on whose manual you read).

So you can do 70Ma for 42 hours, 150 Ma for 21 if going from fully run down or buy a peak detection fast charger which will top it off nicely in around half an hour or so.

Hi,

According to “Overlander” they say,

Battery capacity plus 20%, divided by the input of your trickle charger = time needed to charge.

If running a 2200 pack, fully charged it should have lasted for a good few flights.

When charging batteries you should never peak charge a new battery, it false peaks and you lose power pretty quickly with a resultant crash, (perhaps this is why Kenny offers to fast charge your batteries!!)

Hope this helps

Cheers

Clyde

That would be 2200*1.2/70 for the 70ma charger which is around 38 hours - not too different from my guesses.

or 2200*1.2/150 = 17.6 hours, again not too far away.

I've got loads of these packs in my planes.  The one in my Wot4 just lasts for ever, I'll get 2 days flying(8 x 17 minute flights) and the battery checker still says there's more in the tank.  Holds its charge like nobodies business too.

Reckon I've just begged fate for a catastrophic battery failure imminently!
