I got five aerosol cans from Falkirk. I have used one on the tailplane and the main fuse, looking good so far. The underside stays white so I only have the fuse, pod tops and top of the wings to do.

Spent all day doing the cockpit! No pilots but I did instruments and seats. I will screw the canopy on, so I might do pilots later.

Kevin I need more printable vinal. Three sheets isn't enough :) I have four roundals and various other emblems still to print so need another four sheets at least! One roundal takes a whole A4 sheet

I have so far ruined my shoes, trousers and fleece with a hue of dark greeny brown and sunset orange. I ain't about to go green with my phone!

It is looking spectacular, no pilots but I have cockpit detail and lovely orange highlights. The vinyl worked well for the test, I fuel proofed it in place, no wrinkles! yippee.

Now I have six roundels at a4 size and various flags and emblems to print and stick.

Then I have the lighting to fit, navigation, strobe, and headlight. Then the retracts to check out, The steerable nose leg to rejig to avoid the battery, the radio and three miles of wire to sort out, multi plugs to fit to the two extenal wings the centre wing and the fuse, all of the flying surfaces to centre and test, the cowls to fix, the motors and esc to order and the battery position to weigh out!

Anyone want to buy a Bronco?

Well it's painted. I still have a few vinyl stickers to print and stick on the side of the pods and the top of the wings.

Screwed it all together today for the photo. I probably need two house bricks for the front. I will probably mould them into the fuel pod that hangs below the airframe as the front fuse will be full of batterys anyway!!!!!

Could not get Overlander motors same as what4 as they don't do them any more. Couldn't get same as Steven has in his YAk, out of stock, so went to Giant Cod and got two 2kw motors that turn 19" prop on six cell. You can just see one of the motors in the pic. They weight .500g each so that is 1kg of lead avoided!

Nice motors, Giant Cod had them with me inside a day!

Now the whole plane is held together with two 1/4" dowels........... I suppose thats why you don't see very many flying.

I got the paint from Economy Auto Paints at Bainsford Falkirk. Kinda dear at £10 per can though I sprayed the whole model with just three. He will mix any colour and any sheen from gloss to mat.

I found the best way to get even coverage was to spray up one nostril and out the other. Provided you weren't distracted you got a fantastic smooth finish.

Of course if you were interrupted or sneezed......... mayhem, dripping green snot everywhere!
