Sadly the trial bikes have been on site again. We have plugged other gaps but it is hard to protect a field that has more than a 1000 metre circumference. The video did not capture anything. It was running and in daylight it is sensitive. It can capture someone walking into view at the flight line or even an aircraft running down the runway but alas when it gets dark or dusky we ain't capturing anything. So perhaps we need to discuss better CCTV, more overt and multi view with time lapse, rather than motion detection. Power supply will be the killer. Given it is ruining the field can we get together as a committee this Sunday at 12 noon. Thanks. | |

OK, the indoor is cancelled so the planned committee meeting needs to move. Who can make the Stables Bar 7.30 for 8.00 Wed evening? Please respond and say whether you can make it.

The trial bike was on the field today. Lots of damage, they seem to have broken the safety fence though that might have been the gale. They pushed over the barricade we put in one of the gaps to gain entry. In retaliation they barricaded the main gate with the water carrier and a bunch of trees. I will contact the community police officer. The security camera did not catch anything.

If you see the two young trial bike riders or hear them in the lanes then please phone the police on this number and report that they are in the Palacerigg lane system. 01236 503900.
Please be sure it is two bikes, there are occasional single riders who will not return to the expected location the police are aware of.
Do not break down the perimeter fence for any reason. Do not climb the fence and disturb the hawthorn we have piled against the fence. Use the main gate if you are exiting or entering the premises.
Do not break through the hedge to the rear of the car park. If you must use the public facilities at Palacerigg.
